How do I keep my knife sharp?
Your knife is only as good as its sharpness. We recommend only sharpening your knife when you start to notice it becoming dull. It does not need to be sharpened after every use. A high quality honing steel can be used to align the blade when needed. After time, a honing steel will become less effective and you will need to use a Whetstone. We recommend a 1000/6000 grit and if you have experience sharpening knives, you could take it even finer!
My knife has rust forming on the blade!?
Don't Panic! Damascus steel is high in carbon and is at risk for light rust. Hand wash and dry with a soft towel. Use cooking oil every other use to prevent rust.
How do I care for my knife?
The same exact way you would care for your 71 mach 1 mustang. Polish that baby daily and make sure it is out in the open for EVERYONE to see. Show it off! Whatever you do, do NOT put this bad boy in the dishwasher. Hand wash and dry the blade after each use. Every other use, we recommend to lather that puppy up with cooking oil to prevent rust.
